ALL THINGS COWBOY! (The Main Stage will be the Cowboy Channel/RFD stage, located on the lawn of the RFD offices/HQ, at 130 E. Exchange Ave..

Other music events include the fiddle contest at 10am, Ginny Mac & Glenn at 12noon, Mark Staggs as FESTUS at 12:30, Kristyn Harris at 1pm, Cowtown Opry at 1:30, and the Buffalo Bill Cowboy Band at 2:30 (times approximate!)

Our annual fundraising GALA is AUGUST 7th

OUR ANNUAL FUNDRAISING GALA is scheduled for August 7th, 2021 at Shepherd's Valley Cowboy Church in Alvarado, Tx (Johnson County). TICKET INFO ON OUR HOME PAGE.

 

Our annual fundraising gala, will be in honor of the late MARK ABBOTT, fine musician, friend, and founding member of Cowtown Opry's "The Cowtown Cowboys ....

AND

the late BILLY CATE, whose fine solo work, and ensemble performances with The Chisholm Trail Cowboys, helped Cowtown Opry to establish high quality truly western showmanship in the FTW Stockyards, and beyond....

AND

'Roncho Ron' McRuiz, gregarious drummer and firebrand, whom we lost in summer of 2019....

AND

Pam Tarpley, historian,  author, radio production engineer for Judy James' "Cowboy Jubilee", beloved co- coordinator of the Buckaroos, and secretary of our CTO board of directors....

AND

Art Keim, our most recent loss, (February 2021) who was there in support of the founding of Cowtown Opry, beside his wife, pianist Jean Marlowe (Jeanette Keim) in the mid-1990s. Thank you, Art.
